Questions about Assist With Food

Which AI can I use?
Any AI app that can add a custom connector (MCP) can connect directly. You can switch AIs whenever you like; your record stays here. If your AI app can't add a connector, you can still describe things to it and add what it tells you here yourself.
What does connecting let my AI do?
Read your food records and the photos you allow, and save its research and records with its name on them. It cannot archive or delete your records, change its own permissions, or do anything outside Food. Your AI app may still ask you before each tool runs.
Can my AI order food or book a table through Food?
No. Food records and compares; it never orders, reserves, pays, or contacts anyone.
Is this a nutrition or diet tracker?
No. Nutrition is one lens you can use, not the point. Food never diagnoses, prescribes, or certifies a meal as allergen-free.
Are the prices live?
No. Every price shows when it was seen and where it came from. Old ones are marked stale by your own rule, and your AI can refresh them.
Who can see my records?
Only you, signed in. Records are private by default, and nothing is shared with other Assist sites.
What about the location in my photos?
Your original is kept exactly as you took it, privately. Copies shown on the site or given to an AI have location removed.
Do I have to set up recipes or a pantry first?
No. Start with one question, one photo, or one place.
What if my AI gets something wrong?
Corrections are added beside the original, so you can see what changed, who changed it, and why.
What does it cost?
Food is free today; no price has been set.
How do I get help?
Through the Assist With family's shared support desk at Assist With Life, linked from every page footer.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes, from Your data. Deleting removes everything Food holds for you, including your photos and your AI connections. Your sign-in itself is kept by Clerk, Food's sign-in service, and is removed separately from your account settings.
